On Sunday, September 14th, we made our last trip to the river until next year. It was the day after Hurricane Ike hit in Texas, and it wasn't the prettiest day to be on the water. Mark wanted to take Junior and Angie because we had invited them to go with us earlier in the summer, but they were unable to go. So it stopped raining and we went. We had a blast even if the sun wasn't out. Now Mark is ready to winterize the boat and put it up until next year. This means summer is officially over at my house.
