new blog...new name

Hey, so I really wasn't satisfied with the name of my blog "back in tennessee". Mom asked me where have you been? So I have pondered this and liked the tennessee being in the title because my life is a country like and I like representing that. So I checked and "a blog in tennessee" was available, so that it is. the ferry

Sunday we rode the motorcycle. We crossed the ferry from Big Sandy to Danville. We visited mammaw and pappaw at paris landing. We are going on a trip to south carolina on the motorcycle and coming back through the smokey mountains. It should be an adventure. I am so excited. Here are some pictures from the ferry ride.

Bad news: house fire

My friends Catherine and Phillip had a house fire yesterday and everything was lost. They have nothing left. They have 2 daughters Breanna and Allie. All of their clothes, toys, belongings were destroyed. Please keep them in your prayers. I am taking up donations for them if anyone wants to help. Here are some pictures of their family.

The cabin

Good Morning! It's 7:20 a.m. and I have a big day ahead of me. First, granddaddy is picking me up about 8:30 a.m. for breakfast at the truck stop [North 40]. We love North 40 [lol]. Then after breakfast, moma and daddy are picking me up and taking me to Paris with them to work on their cabin. They have bought one of those really cute shed's and put it at Paris Landing near my mammaw and pappaw. Moma starts LPN school in Paris in January, so she is planning on living up there half the time. Dad wants to live up there ALL the time. It is super cute; it has 2 lofts and they are fixing the kitchen, bathroom, and their bedroom downstairs. We are all very excited. Daniel has been helping too. Him, Daddy, and pappaw dug the foundation and have put up wall frames and wiring. Everyone is chipping in. Here are some pictures.

Spirit the horse

I want this horse. I will name him Spirit. I may trade Spook for him. I will let you know if I get him. Isn't he great. I always wanted a buckskin. He let me catch him today. He just stood there as I put his head in the halter, but the halter wasn't big enough. He's huge!

bush hogging

Mark and I have been bush hogging at the horse pasture all week. We finally finished yesterday. Mom and Dad came by to check on their horse Molly. She took some pictures of me on the Kubota, and I took pictures of Mark on the New Holland. Here they are =]
