Tuesday afternoon bike ride

Tuesday afternoon we rode motorcycles with Clint and Jesse [who rode crotch rockets]. We went to Lexington and ate at Sparky's. It was alot of fun. I took these pictures with my phone.

The end to another wonderful day.

more river pictures

Mark took me to the river Sunday afternoon. We ate supper at Pebble Island and it was wonderful. The sunset on the water was the most beautiful I have seen so far this summer.

love those river days...

Another friday is here. I have the river on my mind this morning. I have so many pictures to share. My favorite thing about summer is the river days. There is nothing more perfect that a peaceful river. You sit in the boat until you are so hot you have to jump in. Then when you get out a breeze comes by and gives you a chill, and you wrap up in your towel only to repeat the process. That is my definition of a perfect day. And you can't forget the sunset to finish it off. A sunset is never more beautiful than it is from a boat on the river. At least in my opinion. So here are some pictures to wrap up my summer thus far...

time with the family

We had our traditional steak supper to celebrate Daniel's homecoming. We all gathered together at moma's house on Tuesday evening. The men fired up the grill about 6:30 p.m. I think everyone ended up eating way too much, I know I did!

A day at Venture River

I have been begging Mark to take me to the water park all summer. He finally gave in. We took the grandkids Noah and Raegan. It was a 3 hour drive but totally worth it. We had a ball. I think Mark and I enjoyed ourselves nearly as much as the twins. It was a fabulous day.
